Why Have School Trips?
At Reigate Park we are committed to ensure that children receive a broad and balanced curriculum. Pupils can derive considerable educational benefit from taking part in trips. They have the opportunity to undergo experiences not available in the classroom; visits help to develop a pupil’s investigative skills and also encourage greater independence. They also provide pupils with knowledge and awareness of the world around them and encourage personal and social development.
On each school trip we ask parents and carers to sign a permission form that allows the child to take part in educational activities outside of the school area.
All school trip letters are sent out by the class teacher a few weeks in advance of the trip. Any school trip payments should be paid through parent pay.
